FAQs:

– Chorally or Musically gifted and bringing your instrument? Please let us know.

– Unless you are notified otherwise in the coming week, please assume you will be staying in the Domus Pacis

– Note the venue charges per person and not per room so if you have not registered and paid for partners coming you should contact registration@assisi2012.com without delay and forward payment ASAP. Please see here for general accommodation information.

Travel questions? Please see here.

Arriving in Assisi earlier than April 17th or leaving later than the morning of 21st? Please book and pay for additional accommodation directly with the venue at domuspacis@assisiofm.org or see alternative accommodation in the area available at www.venere.com

– Note you should plan to arrive in Assisi by early afternoon on 17th – the conference opens in the Basilica di Santa Maria degli Angeli at 16.30pm

– One 54 seater bus will be leaving from Rome on the evening of April 16th – time to be confirmed. Some spaces still available – contact registration@assisi2012.com with ‘Bus on April 16th’ as subject header. Primarily this has been organized for those invited speakers travelling very long distances but while spaces remain we are happy to fill it with other registered participants. Remember, if you are arriving a night early, you will need to book an additional night’s accommodation yourself with the venue unless this has already been attended to.

– Please ensure that we have your current email address and that the conference email addresses are in your permitted senders’ list and check this website regularly for updates

– Don’t forget unless informed otherwise already all papers can be no longer than 15 minutes in duration – with a packed schedule this time limit will be rigidly enforced – please do not bring papers longer than 1500-1700 words maximum or plan to speak to headings

– Some meeting rooms (mainly those for the plenary and parallel plenary sessions in Domus Pacis) will have PowerPoint facilities but most will not. Most presenters should plan on not delivering via PowerPoint.

Looking forward to seeing you all in Bella Umbria!
